ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Housing Authority of the City of Middletown (MHA) is seeking sealed bids for:

Sbona Tower 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT Balcony Roof and Breezeway Window Replacement

Bid Opening date and time at the MHA, 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT 06457 Friday August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work of the contract includes but is not limited to: Removal of existing greenhouse glass from Second Floor Balconies and replace with metal roofing system and remove and replace existing windows on 1st and 2nd floor breezeway.

Site review by all bidders will be on Thursday August, 16 2018 at 10:00 am. Meet at Sbona Tower

Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications will be available for review at MHA, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 and can be viewed on-line at www.advancedrepro.net, or purchased at Advanced Reprographics

5% Bid Security and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds required.

Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246), Section 3, and related provisions in the General Conditions.

Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents.

The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any

informality in the bidding.   No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days

subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
