The Housing Authority of the City of Middletown (MHA) is seeking sealed bids for:

Sbona Tower 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT Front Lobby Renovations

Bid Opening date and time at the MHA, 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT 06457 Thursday February 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. All bids will be opened remotely via zoom and read aloud.

The work of the contract includes but is not limited to: Replacement of existing entry storefront glass, relocating mailboxes, adding additional storefront glass entry systems, new kitchenette, upgrading wall and floor finishes, exterior façade improvements and associated site work.

Site review by all bidders will be on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at 10:00 am. Meet at Sbona Tower. ALL Covid-19 Social Distancing Precautions will be observed, masks and a completed Covid-19 Screening questionnaire are required. Please note additional requirements for building entry below.

Note: Addenda to this bid will be issued via email. Contractors intending to bid must be registered on the Advanced Reprographics Planholder’s list to receive direct email of all addenda.

5% Bid Security and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds required.

Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246), Section 3, and related provisions in the General Conditions.

The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
